Money, You and Law Of Attraction - Part I
I remember that my thoughts turned to money almost instantly when I first learned about the Law of Attraction. The idea that I could be, do and have anything I wanted in my life (including but not limited to money) by consciously working with my thoughts and emotions blew me away!
I like the concept that I am responsible for all that shows up in my life and at this point in time, money is one of those things that I would like a lot more of! How about you?
Okay, so we need money in order to survive today…that's a given, right? But money means a lot more than just survival in modern society. It determines the quality and the level of enjoyment and freedom that we are able to experience on a daily basis.
Having little money gives us very limited power, freedom or options. Without money, we can barely help ourselves, let alone anybody else.
So how come so many of us struggle financially? To answer this fundamental question, we have to check out what money really is.
Money is not only bits and pieces of paper and metal; it is a representation of the flow of energy in our lives. Usually when people are experiencing a lack in the area of money, they are also experiencing a lack somewhere else in their lives. This lack shows up as blocks and can affect relationships, career, spirituality and health, among other things.
Using the Law of Attraction to successfully enhance the flow of money through your life means you first need to understand where these blocks are and why they are there to begin with.
Vast majorities of people either don't understand the significance of this step, or they pass over it because it takes them out of their comfort zone. Instead, they try to build dams within themselves to try and bypass these blocks in order to force the flow of prosperity through their lives.
They try to do this by focusing on wealth affirmations and visualizations. By attempting to do and say the right things, they fool themselves into thinking that the Law of Attraction will be persuaded to drop bags of money on their doorstep.
Regrettably, it does not work this way. Many folks simply fail to understand that their energy blocks are already working in conjunction with the Law of Attraction.
Blocks exist because our vibration is not in alignment with what we want to attract. So all the visualizations and affirmations in the world won't make a difference if the block itself isn't removed.
I'm sure you've experienced this (I have), you use your prosperity affirmations and visualization techniques and you really do see a difference in the flow of money into your life…but then, all of a sudden you're back where you started. Some emergency comes up and you need to take that extra money you've worked so hard at affirming and visualizing and put it on the broken down car you still have. Ugh…back to square one.
The fact that this energy block exists will prevent money from flowing smoothly through you. How can you tell if you have this kind of block? Well, you'll probably have a constant feeling of being blocked or trapped or not capable of moving beyond a certain point in your life regardless of what you do.
You will constantly wonder why the techniques that appear to work so well for others don't work so well for you and will probably push harder and harder until you finally give in to the constant disappointment of it not working for you.
Any of this sound vaguely familiar? If you believe that you have a block in your life that prevents you from allowing money to flow then you need to determine what may be causing it. Once you do that then you just need to dissolve it for the dam to burst and for the money (energy) to flow easily and swiftly into your life.
Take heart! It is not as complicated as you might believe!
