‘Tis the season where my thoughts turn to peace on earth and how far we’ve come and how far we still need to go in order to achieve it. Some days I feel it’s possible and other days I wonder how we’ve survived as a species so long without totally annihilating ourselves.
I see so many acts of kindness, freely given, at this time of year and it’s wonderful! Yet, the rest of the year seems devoid of the compassion that abounds during the holiday season. If there was only some way we could draw upon this season’s energy and carry it with us throughout the year, I think we might be able to achieve the peace most of us want. What do you think?
