This is a great idea! Gathering all the stuff that you no longer use and bringing it to a central location with a bunch of other folks and giving it away for free. It’s a throwback to the 60s when the “hippies” opened free stores. Wouldn’t it be great if every city and town around the world created these Really Free Markets. It would be a great counter-movement to the commerce driven lifestyle most of us live.
I give away things such as clothes, gadgets, cd’s, dvd’s, etc. that I haven’t used for six months or more. I figure anything that hasn’t been used for at least six months is not doing anything but cluttering up my space but may be something that would be used by someone else. Betcha you have a lot of stuff that you haven’t used in a long while. Why not let it help someone else out!
