You ever feel like I’ve got to hurry and get this done or I’m this many years old if I don’t finish this now I’ll never get it done? Imagine if we did get everything done that we’ve planned out for ourselves, that we’ve dreamed of being, doing, having. Would we even be here then? I mean don’t you always finish one thing and then have something else you want to move on to exploring, figuring out, playing with? I know I do.

What I’ve been thinking lately is that we never get it done. We get new ideas, plans, wishes, desires all the time, no matter what we happen to be working on. So why stress over getting it done? Why not just dive into whatever is holding our attention and uplifting us at any given moment. No pressure to finish, just the joy of exploring different experiences that tickle us, that cause us to feel passionate and filled with life. What a wonderful way to be! Won’t you join me?

I like the idea of this quote because it means that it doesn’t matter what we have been doing up to any point in our lives…it only matters where we choose to go. We can start from here, NOW, to make different choices…to go in a different direction.

From moment to moment we can choose anew…offer a different thought…a new vibration. So no matter where you stand in relation to your health, relationships, spirituality, abundance…you can choose where you are going with your life in each and every moment. How great is that?

This quote is really hitting home for me this week. I chose to be totally present no matter where it was I happened to be or what it was I happened to be doing. Often I think we zone out when we’ve got some mundane task to do such as, washing dishes or going to work or walking the dog, etc. What I’ve found is that if I consciously decide to be present in the moment and give my attention and my heart to whatever task is at hand, it becomes a sacred thing…yes, even washing the dishes can be sacred!

What seems to happen is the Universe conspires to bring us thoughts and events that give evidence of being in alignment with the universal energy that surrounds us when we give ourselves completely to wherever we are and whatever we are doing. The daily chores become a time of quiet contemplation that help to quiet your mind and let in new thoughts and ideas or more clarity on a subject that you have been pondering.

So be present in every moment. Find something to appreciate about where you are right now and your vibration of appreciation will place you in alignment with source energy allowing you to create more of those things you want to be, do and have! Who knew dishwashing was such a magical tool of manifestation!!
